Senior Communications Disorders Major and Gerontology Minor at Winthrop University. Will complete a Bachelor of Arts in May 2011. 3.6 GPA in my Speech Major, and an overall GPA of 3.0.
Experience
My Overall GRE score was a 660,and a 4.0 on the Analytical writing portion. My overall SAT scores were 780.I have not scored tremendously well on tests,but I am an A-B student and I stress excellence in education. I would like to become a tutor because I feel that I have what it takes to teach other students how to study better and perform better in any homework or test. I have been in their positions before from a student perspective,so I should be able to help others with what I am strong in. Some of the classes I have taken have been geography, Logistics/Probability,Sociology,Nutrition, Speech courses(Language disorders,Aphasiology,Human Anatomy,etc.) I have recently completed a total of 330 internship hours for my minor and major requirements. I also volunteer at Agape Rehabilitation as a hospice volunteer about 1x a week.
